Wanda Joyce Street Robinson was born on July 10, 1953, in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, to Leroy Street and Edna Simmons Powell.  She was the 4th child born to Edna Simmons Powell where she lived. She grew up and dated her then husband David Anthony Robinson at the age of 12 years old and they decided to make it official at the age of 18 and David 19. David was then sent to basic training, so Wanda lived with her new mother in-law Birtha Robinson for the year while David completed his basic training. After, David Returned to Chicago to be with his new wife where they lived for two years before the couple welcomed their first child Trivion Nicole Robinson. David then received his Permanent Change of Station (PCS) to Bavaria, Germany Duty Station. The couple had orders to Germany where they lived for three years. David was then PCS back to Chicago, Illinois, five years later the couple welcomed their second child LaTasha Denise Robinson (Crossley).

The two lived in Chicago for a total of six years, before David was PCS again to the state of Phoenix Arizona, Fort Huachuca. The family of four were stationed in Phoenix, Arizona on the Fort Huachuca base for three years, before David orders were changed to return to Bavaria, Germany. However, at the last minute his PCS was then changed for him to be reported to the Fort Lewis base in the State of Washington. The family of four decided the State of Washington would be their permanent home that they would build their lives together. First Sergeant First Class David Anthony and Wanda Joyce Robinson decided to retire from the Military after serving Active Duty for a total of twenty-two years.  However, three years later the couple were able to welcome their last and only boy David Anthony Robinson Jr.

A year later Wanda decided to give her life over to the Lord where she became a member at Refreshing Springs Church in Lakewood, Washington under the leadership of Pastor Louis Haskin. Wanda served on the Pastor Aid committee and enjoyed the teaching of God’s Word, while discovering her gifts in the Prophetic and Evangelism. Wanda served in the ministry for three years before her and her husband and three kids moved to Tacoma, Washington where they purchased their first home together. One night Wanda was invited to a revival at Greater Joy Church of God in Christ in Tacoma, Washington. Wanda enjoyed the worship and fellowship at Greater Joy, she made the decision to become a member at the Greater Joy Church of God in Christ Ministry under the leadership of Supt. James & Verleda Watson Sr. Wanda Robinson joined the Usher Board and continued helping on the Pastor Aid committee. The Lord began using Wanda Robinson more and more in the Prophetic.

Years later, her husband David Robinson made the decision to give his life over to the Lord as well at a revival that Greater Joy was having. David and Wanda raised their three kids in the church and to teach them to always keep their faith in the Lord and at the center of their lives. David and Wanda served at Greater Joy Ministry until the Lord called David Anthony Robinson home on February 8th, 2015.
