Venita Estell Damon was born August 18,1936 to Jessie Garnett and Odie Rivers in Anadarko Oklahoma. She attended Temple College and Later Graduated with her Bachelors Degree in music at Mary Harden Baylor.
She began her career in teaching at Meredith Dunbar in 1954 for 13 years where she helped to create the little wildcat relays program. Venita was also a long term Mary Kay Consultant for 20 plus years, but later retired At the VA after 30 years in administration. She was the director of music and proud member of Saint James for 15 plus years and 43 years at Mt Zion Baptist Church. Venita married Lonnie Damon December 6 ,1974. Her hobbies included traveling,shopping , church , music and family time. Venita Estell Damon departed this life on July 7, 2022 in Temple Texas.
She was proceeded in death by her parents,husband and great granddaughter.
Left to cherish her memories are three daughters Vicki Clark, Carla Biggiers, Brittany Gonzales. Grandchildren Michael Lennard Biggiers Jr, ShaCasulyn Biggiers,Lashonda Clark. Great Grandchildren Kabriesha Clark ,Ladasia Collier, Ah’Lijah Biggiers, Ja’Kobi Biggiers,Le’Nijah Biggiers, Amiyah Gonzales, Austyn Gonzales, Aliya Gonzales,Tristan La’Grone, Aubrianna Hellums . Great Great Grandchildren Alaina Meyers, Christian Bradley, Kayden Collie
