Roderick Wayne (Rod) Woodson

Roderick Wayne Woodson was born July 17, 1970 to Samuel Edward and Jeneva Annette Woodson and it was thought that a star was born and maybe they were right. Rod caught on to things early, quickly and enjoyed fishing, dominoes, shooting pool with a his brothers and anything that challenged his mental agility. Rod was a no nonsense and always up for the challenge thus began his career as a roofer and the the birth of Rod’s Roofing. Roderick departed this life on March 20, 2022, after battling  complications stemming from car accident the year prior; he died in Kyle Hospital surrounded by family.

Roderick was preceded in death by his father Samuel Edward Woodson.

His memory will live forever in the hearts of his wife: Westeen Woodson; loving mom :Jeneva Tow, one daughter :Amber Nicole Grays; three sisters: Rhonda Woodson Ladd, Tamarah Woodson Sanders(Clarence), and Brittany Woodson; four brothers: Samuel Baker, Mark Woodson(LaKesha), Anthony Woodson and Adrian Woodson; five grandchildren and a host of Aunts and Uncles, Nieces and Nephews and other relatives whom he loved unconditionally.
