Rochelle Renee (Norvell) Ray

Rochelle Renee “Norvell” Ray was born September 1, 1956, in Temple, Texas to Roy Norvell Sr and Louella Norvell.She was added to the Corinth Missionary Baptist Church in Temple Texas, where she was baptized at an early age. Rochelle was an active church member and participated in several ministries. Later, she united with the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church and remained active in the church.

Rochelle received her education from Temple Independent School District. Temple College and Texas Women university.

Rochelle retired from Temple Independent school District in 2011. During her time at Temple Independent school District, she touched many lives with her smile, personality and compassion for students, parents and staffs.

She united with Otis Ray and nurtured their family of two children, Amber Nicole “Ray” Nails and Shayla Anais “Ray” Dickerson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Norvell Sr and Louella Norvell, sister Beridene Norvell, brothers Roy “Bobby” Norvell Jr and Maurice Norvell.

Those who remain to cherish her precious memories and family include her husband Otis Ray, daughters Amber Nicole “Ray “Nails and Shayla Anais “Ray” Dickerson  sons in-law Jeffery Nails and Jeremy Dickerson, Grandsons Jaden Ray, Tatum Nails and Jeremy Carter Dickerson, granddaughters Aijah “Bailey” Ray, America Dickerson, great-grand son Malakai Terpening, sisters Irma Burns, Beverly Jenkins, Marion Hobson brother Lawrence Norvell sisters-in-law Jestine Terrell, Alice Coleman, Jesse Pipe and Helen Ray, brothers-in-law Willie B Ray,, Willie CRay and, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and dear friends.
