Robert Anglin was born on July 20, 1935, in Union Springs, Alabama, to the parental stewardship of Lamar King and Ada Mae Anglin Smart. Fearfully and wonderfully made, his birth was a treasured gift, and he was reared in the fear and admonition of the Lord.
He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Bullock County, Alabama, sealing his eternal destiny by faith in Jesus Christ.
After graduating from Bullock County High School, Robert enlisted in the United States Army in 1955 and served honorably for 23 years in tactical field communications. His life reflected discipline, faithfulness, and unwavering commitment to service.
The legacy of his life is marked by trust in God, not merely as belief, but as a daily pursuit of living by faith. His trust was the intimate harmony between his profession of faith and his life of humility, submission, and obedience.
“For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.”—Romans 1:17
