Melvira Roberson

Melvira was born on February 13, 1949 to Juanita Roberson and Billy Blackmon. She was born and raised in Rogers, Texas and graduated from Rogers High School. She was previously married to Willie Frank Greene.

Throughout her life she loved to watch movies, westerns (Walker Texas Ranger, Gunsmoke), soap operas (Passions, Young & The Restless), go out to eat, and spend time with her grandkids.

Melvira was a loving mother to her three children: Gaynell Roberson, Willie "Popeye" Roberson, and Isaac Greene Sr. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren (Antwoin, Deidre, Dontre, Colby, Bridget, Tiquirra, Shaylise, Ashley, Diarius, Isaac Jr, and Xiazven) as well as her 28 great-grandchildren.

Melvira was preceded in death by her mother, Juanita Roberson; her baby sister, Mary Blackmon Lewis; and Frank Greene. She is lovingly remembered by her sisters, Ann Blackmon Booze & Juanita Blackmon Owens, who continue to cherish and celebrate her life. She will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who were blessed to know her.

Melvira will be remembered for the love she shared with her family and the memories she leaves behind.
