She was the youngest child of ten siblings born in Mansfield, LA. She accepted Christ at an early age at the St. Peters Baptist Church. She was a graduate of the All-Saints High School.
She relocated to Dallas, TX and united with the Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. R. L. Jones. After retiring from the United States Postal Service, she moved back home to Mansfield, LA and united with the Springhill Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Joe N. Paul. She loved singing and served faithfully until her illness.
She left this world on June 4, 2022, at the age of 71.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ethel Davis, Sr.; three sisters, Ernestine Davis, Fannie Davis, Mary Gilliam; and one brother, James Davis.
Memories of her will always be cherished by her only child, Sheila Watson, son-in-law, Anton Watson, Harker Heights, TX; two grandsons, Kenrick Davis and Dominique Watson, Tacoma, WA; one great-grandson, Dominique Kapileo Watson; two sisters, Willie Hackworth, Alice Johnson (Larry), Dallas, TX; three brothers, Robert Davis, Jr. (Brenda), Henry Davis, William Davis, Sr. (Connie), Mansfield, LA, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
