Lucille Crump Robertson

On October 21, 2025, at the age of 78, Lucille Crump Robertson earned God's greatest reward, hearing, "Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things: I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord." Matthew 25:21

Lucille Crump Robertson was born the third child to the late Edgar and Pearline Crump on August 21, 1947, in Oldenburg, Texas.

At the young age of ten, Lucille confessed her faith in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized. She became an active and devoted member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, where she served the Lord with humility and dedication throughout her life.

Lucille received her early education at Randolph High School in LaGrange, Texas, where she graduated as the Salutatorian of the Class of 1965. She continued her studies at Paul Quinn College in Waco, Texas, and graduated in 1969.

On September 13, 1969, Lucille was united in holy matrimony to Willie Earl Robertson. To this blessed union, their beloved daughter, Gay Dawn, was born.

Lucille was a woman of grace, strength, and quiet wisdom. She expressed her faith through her kindness, unwavering love for her family, and willingness to help others. Her gentle spirit and steadfast devotion left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Edgar and Pearline Crump, and her brother Julius Crump.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her devoted husband, Willie Earl Robertson; her beloved daughter, Gay Dawn Justice (Jermaine); her cherished grandson, William Jerel Justice (Natalie); her precious great-granddaughter, Mary Lauren Justice; her loving sister, Evelyn East (Izae); brothers, John Crump (Edith) and Don Crump (Veronica); sisters-in-law, Brenda Lee, Jacqueline Lee, Devonya Cummings (Larry), and Angela Edwards; brother-in-law Dr. Vernon Robertson (Jackie); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
