Leora (Jackson) Guardado

Mrs. Leora Jackson Guardado was born January 30, 1944 to Morris and Clora Jackson in Neelyville, Missouri.  The family later relocated to St. Louis Missouri where she graduated from O’Fallon Tech High School.  She accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age in Neelyville, Missouri.

On April 12, 1965, she united in holy matrimony to Gabriel Guardado in St. Louis, Missouri and to this union three children were born.

During the course of her life, she worked for Famous and Barr Store (Macy’s) in St. Louis, Missouri, and later Scott and White Hospital Housekeeping department (Aramark) in Temple, Texas in until she retired.

She departed this life on August 26, 2021 in a local nursing home.

She was preceded in death by her parents,  Morris and Clora Jackson; husband, Gabriel Guardado; one daughter, Angela Guardado, four brothers, Frank, Leslie, Wesley, and Alfred Jackson; two sisters, Annie Belle Bolton and Mary Helen; and one grandson, Don’Tre Guardado

He leaves to cherish her memories:  one son, Gabriel Guardado II,  and wife Tonja; one daughter, Vivianna Mays and husband Jacques Mays; five grandchildren, Ronny, Dai’Von, Dai’Jon, Kiona, and Talise, and two great- grandchildren, Jae’Dyn, Camden, and a host of other relatives and friends.
