Kristanae Daviette Wright

Kristanae Daviette ”Nae Nae” Wright was born in Temple, Texas on November 18, 1989, to Pastor Davy K. and Mrs. Benita L. Wright. She attended Temple schools and accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Victory Missionary Baptist Church, under the pastoral care of the late Rev. S.C. Fowler.

Nae Nae loved to sing, laugh, and had a wonderful sense of humor.  She was an American Idol contestant making it to Round 3 of competition.  Nae also enjoyed taking pictures and styling her friends’ hair. She loved music and dancing, being around family and family gatherings. She also loved the Lord, her children, her parents, and her family.

Kristanae transitioned into eternity on May 25, 2024, in Temple, Texas.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents Mr. Buford (Sonny) Booty, and Mr. John B. (JB) Wright and Mrs. Myrtle Wright.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her parents; one son, A’Zedrion; one daughter, A’Ziyah; grandmother, Alyce Booty; sisters, Christie (Johnny) Jackson and Brandi (Rodney) Medlock; and brothers, Davion Wright and Terry (Kaci) Moore; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
