He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Cruz Elisa Hernandez, his daughters, Bania Hernandez and Yamilette Hernandez, and his daughter-in-law, Vanessa Bravo-Gomez, along with countless family members, friends, and loved ones whose lives he touched.

Jose was known as a kind, hardworking man who dedicated much of his life to building and improving homes. Many described him as a genius with his hands, able to solve problems that seemed impossible and create beauty wherever he worked. He was an artist in every sense of the word, bringing creativity, skill, and passion to everything he did.

His strength extended beyond his work. Jose was disciplined and determined, faithfully going to the gym every morning and facing life's challenges with courage and perseverance. He believed that if something did not work the first time, it was always worth trying again.
