Ernest Charles Carson

Memorial Service for Ernest Charles Carson 57, of Temple, Texas will be Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Don D. Summers Funeral Chapel in Temple, Texas with Dr. U. C. Barnes, Officiating.

Ernest Charles Carson was born December 22, 1962 to Robert and Mary Carson in Temple, Texas. He was second of three children.

He attended public school in the Temple Independent School District where he later received a GED.

Ernest accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at an early age at Corinth Baptist Church.

During the course his life he became a welder.  He also worked for Wilson Art and Dan Hil Containers.

Among the may things he loved to do, barbequing was his favorite thing.

He departed this life on Saturday, November 28, 2020 in a local hospital.  He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Carson, Sr.

Ernest leaves to cherish is memories:  one daughter, LaTasha Blackmon of Dallas, TX; mother, Mary Atkinson, of Temple, TX; one brother, Robert Carson of Austin, TX; one sister, Cheryl Alexander of Temple, TX; one aunt, Dorothy Moore of Moreno Valley, CA; four uncles, Thomas Carson of Houston, TX, Michael Atkinson of Moreno Valley, CA; Robert Atkinson of Los Angeles, CA; and Amos Atkinson of Spokane, WA; three nieces, Kabresha, Shametria, and Melody, and a host of other relatives and friends.
