Dewitt Peter Miner Sr.

Dewitt “Peter”  Miner Sr. was born April 21, 1952, to Lonnie “Bubba”  Anderson and Pearl McVade in Bartlett, Texas.

He served in the Marines and worked at the VA Hospital from June 1984 until June 2005. He Loved to play dominoes, keeping busy, and listening to music.

Dewitt Miner Sr. departed this life on March 13th 2022 in Temple, Texas.

Dewitt was preceded in death by his Parents; four brothers: Richard Miner, Leon Powell, Robert McVade, Robert Miner.

His precious memories will forever be cherished by his wife; Anna Miner; two sons: Kelvin Evans, Dewitt Miner Jr.; one daughter: Shelia Minor; two brothers: Larry McVade (Thelma), Jimmy McVade (Brenda); two sisters:  Helen Winkfield (Thomas), Johnnie Mae McVade; nine grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
