David Earl Haywood was born to Albert Haywood and Joyce Rivers December 25, 1956 in Huntsville, Texas.
He went to Sam Houston High School in Huntsville, Texas and later married the Love of his life Terry J. Haywood January 3, 1977.
David served in the Military for 18 years 1 month and 3 days where he earned several medals and several tours of duty include Korea, Berlin Germany, Karlsruhe Germany, Ft. Carson Colorado, and Ft. Hood, Texas.

David died June 9 , 2022 in Killeen, Texas at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his Mother Joyce Fay Rivers, Brother Albert “bubba” Haywood, Grandmother Doris West, Wife Terry J. Haywood.
He leaves to mourn his death one son;David Haywood of McKinney, Texas: one daughter Joyce Haywood of Temple, Texas: two brother; Otha Haywood and Danny Haywood of Huntsville, Texas: six grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
