Dalvin Brown

Dalvin Labert Brown was born on December 14, 1988, in Athens, Texas, to Tracy Edward Brown and Cynthia Joyce Stevens. He entered eternal life on December 31, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia Stevens; his aunt, Deemeeteria Stevens; and both his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Dalvin was a proud graduate of Temple High School, where he distinguished himself as an offensive lineman on the football field and in powerlifting, winning a state medal in powerlifting. He continued his football journey at Blinn College in Brenham, Texas, before taking his talents to Bacone College in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Dalvin also played arena football before returning home to Temple, Texas. After returning home, he worked for Lowe's for a few years before working for ER Carpenter, leaving a positive impact wherever he went.

Dalvin was a light like no other. His smile and laughter were contagious, and his presence could brighten any room. He was known for his generous heart and caring spirit, always willing to help those around him. Dalvin was deeply surrounded by the love of family and friends, and that love will carry his memory forward.

Left to cherish his memories and legacy are his father, Tracy Brown (Karen) of Mabank; his brother, DeAndre Stevens (Beth) of Temple; his brother, Johnathan Rose (Kourtney) of Mabank; his sister, Lashawna Wills (Delisha) of Forney; and his brother, Christopher Freeman of Temple; nieces Brooklyn, Payton, and Kaydence, Aalijah, Aariyah, Kyleigh, Kynzleigh, J'Niya, and Aspyn; nephews Javonte, Jayvion, Kourbyn, J'ralen, and J'derek; his godson, Christopher Freeman Jr.; aunt Lisa Stevens of Temple; aunt Earnestine Walker of Mabank; aunt Christine Miller of Mabank; uncles Gerry Stevens of California and Kenny Stevens of Houston; uncle Henry Brown (Angela) of Mabank; uncle Willie Brown of Mabank; uncle Lemar Brown of Mabank; along with a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.

Dalvin's life, love, and legacy will forever remain in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
