Beverly Joyce Jenkins

Bevery Joyce “Norvell” Jenkins was called home by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on

February 20, 2026.

Beverly Jenkins was born on October 8, 1947, in Temple, Texas, to Roy Norvell Sr. and Louella

“Rose” Norvell. She attended Dunbar High School and later attended beauty school.

Beverly was one of the first Fashion Fair makeup artists at Dillard's. She later worked for and

retired from Temple Independent School District, where she served as a para-professional.

During her tenure, she helped many at-risk children by providing them with boundaries,

laughter, and compassion. Beverly often had adults who were once under her care approach

her to express their thanks and praise.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Norvell Sr. and Louella “Rose” Norvell;

daughter, Paula Annette Jackson; sister, Rochelle “Norvell” Ray; and brothers, Roy “Bobby”

Norvell Jr. and Maurice Norvell.

She leaves behind to carry on her memory daughter Tiffani Jenkins and son Rodney Jenkins;

sisters, Irma “Norvell” Burns, Marion “Norvell” Hobson; brother, Lawerence Norvell;

grandchildren, Ashley Jackson, Brittani Jackson, and Brianna Jackson; along with many

beloved nephews, nieces, cousins, and dear friends.
