Temple

Anthony Chisolm, 59, of Temple, Texas, passed away on May 6, 2025. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, nephew, and cousin.

Born on September 3, 1965, in New York City, NY, Anthony graduated from high school in 1983 and briefly served in the Army. He then joined his father, Eugene Chisolm, working as a general contractor. Afterward, he moved to Killeen, Texas, to be closer to his family, who had recently relocated to the state. Anthony eventually made Temple, Texas, his home with his beloved wife, Denise Chisolm. Anthony cherished spending time at home in Temple. While caring for his family, he still found time for his hobbies, which included drawing and designing, writing, and watching basketball and football. Above all, he adored his family. His love and support for them were admirable. He had a radiant smile that could light up any room, and he enjoyed making people laugh and have fun.

Anthony is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Alfred Chisolm Sr. and Rebecca Mae Chisolm; his brothers, Craig Burgess, Ainsworth Burgess, Ronald Chisolm, Michael Chisolm, and Eugene Alfred Chisolm Jr.; and his niece, Victoria Barasa.

He is survived by his wife, Denise Chisolm; his children, Antquanette Chisolm, Antquan Chisolm, Alexis Chisolm, and Alexandra Chisolm; his brother, Kenneth Chisolm; his sisters, Debra (Robert) Haslam, Leslie Ogilvie, Amelia (Bennie) Smith, Gail (Arthur) Roderique, and Jenna Chisolm; two grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
