Anglean (Carlton) Rogers

Anglean Gamble-Rogers AKA MEMAW was the 1st born of 10 siblings on  September 28,1934 to parents Lizzie Mae and Albert Carlton in La Grange Texas. She attended Dunbar Highschool in Temple Tx.

Anglean worked for Scott & White for over 10+ years. She also, worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs Hospital in Temple Tx. Angelean also was a private homestead caregiver for 3 veterans in 1985. She sold home interior for over 20 years. Angelean  also took on a Big responsibility raising her 7 grandchildren for her deceased daughter Karen Ann Gamble Wheelock.

She Leaves to cherish her memory: Her son Ernest Gamble III of Temple,Tx. Sisters Gracie M.Harris of Arlington,Tx. Helen Petty & Wanda Sue Smith of Temple Tx. Brothers, Roy E Carlton Sr. (Robbie) , and Albert Carlton jr, of Temple, Tx. 16 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces,nephews, and close friends.

She is proceeded in death by her husband Otis Rogers, parents Lizzie Mae and Albert Carlton. Sister Georgi Bonner, Brothers Melvin Carlton, Johnny Lee Johnson, Robert Carlton, and Alfred Carlton. Daughters Karen Ann Gamble Wheelock, and Nelton Mae Duncan. Son Carl Courtney Gamble. Granddaughter Angelina Lloyd. Grandson Zantel Teems and her great grandson Kemari Runnels.
