Addie Mae (Wade) Brewer

Addie Mae Wade Brewer was a middle child of 13 children born  Feb 17, 1930 in Troy Texas to Colyer and Crella (Love) Wade.  Addie attend Dunbar High school  and love to hang out with her older brothers. She lived in Houston Texas with her sister Dovie Anna Wade . While in Houston , she developed a life long love for reading , cross word  puzzles and mathematical challenges, sudoku, whist, dominoes, gardening.  Like many of the Wade children , she was a cook at the Blue Bonnet café in Temple, Texas, as the breakfast cook she left home at 4:30 am to prepare those hearthy breakfast.

She moved to San Antonio, Texas 1982 and she joined St Joseph Church were she taught Sunday School and was the Treasurer for the home owners Association for 19 years.

Addie had 12 siblings 10 are deceased

Addie married Marshal  N Washington  of Whitehall , Tx .   Two Daughters; Evelyn Washington Byars Davidson (Mark), Marsha Washington Reed(Orlando) San Antonio, Tx; one son Paul  E Washington (Ranka) (San Antonio, Tx ) She later married Willie Vaughn and gave birth to her second son, Willie James  Vaughn (Linda Sue); two sisters Hattie D Roe of Temple, Texas and Mary A. Turner of Akron, Ohio; 12 Grandchildren;12 great grandchildren, 2 Great great grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, and friends.
